Ginkgo Tree Avenue at Manabi-no-Mori Promenade
The Ginkgo Tree Avenue at Manabi-no-Mori Promenade is one of the most iconic autumn landscapes in Kakamigahara City. Around 70 ginkgo trees line a straight path stretching approximately 200–300 meters, creating a breathtaking seasonal tunnel.
In mid to late November, the leaves turn a brilliant golden yellow, transforming the entire walkway into what visitors call a “Golden Tunnel” or “Yellow Carpet.” Both the overhead canopy and the fallen leaves on the ground create a magical atmosphere ideal for photography, relaxing strolls, or quiet moments of reflection.
Whether you view the avenue from the entrance or walk through its glowing corridor, the depth and shimmering colors of the ginkgo trees offer one of the most picturesque autumn scenes in Gifu Prefecture.
