Ryujin Waterfall – Nakatsugawa, Gifu Prefecture

Ryujin Waterfall is a beautiful and mystical waterfall located in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture. The water drops 12 meters into a clear basin that is said to change color throughout the day, from deep blue to emerald green, depending on the light.

The name “Ryujin” means “Dragon God” and comes from a local legend about a white dragon that once lived in the waterfall. Today, it’s considered a spiritual power spot.
