Shukkeien Garden (Hiroshima)

Created in 1620 by a feudal lord of the Hiroshima domain, Shukkeien means “shrunken-scenery garden.” It was designed to recreate mountains, valleys, and forests within a compact space.

“A tranquil Japanese garden that captures the beauty of nature in miniature, offering a peaceful escape in the heart of Hiroshima.”
